Dozens of worshipers were injured inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, on Thursday morning, as the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at them inside tribal prayer hall.

The occupation police tried to storm the tribal prayer hall inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, where they fired gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets heavily, as a result of which dozens of worshipers suffocated, and 12 were injured.

The occupation forces arrested 10 worshipers from inside the courtyards of the mosque, and detained a French woman of Algerian origin after attacking her.

This attack coincided with groups of settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque hours ago this morning, after the Israeli government allowed them to do so again after 15 days of preventing them due to Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Sources reported that the number of settlers who stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque was 599, and 15 policemen in civilian clothes.

The worshipers inside the mosque tried to confront the settlers who stormed the mosque, before the occupation forces attacked and evacuated them from the mosque.
