The Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights reported on Tuesday that in July, the Israeli occupation authorities and settlers conducted 55 attacks against Bedouin communities in the occupied West Bank.

These attacks included physical assaults on citizens, the demolition of homes, land leveling, crop destruction, property seizure, establishment of new settlement outposts, issuance of demolition notices, and preventing herdsmen from accessing nearby pastures.

The attacks were concentrated in Hebron governorate with 13 incidents, followed by 12 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, and 8 in Tubas governorate.

Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of Al-Baydar Organization, disclosed that the occupation authorities demolished and issued demolition notices for about 20 housing facilities and equipment in Bedouin communities during the past month.

Furthermore, the settlers were responsible for approximately 28 attacks against the Bedouins and established 8 new outposts in various areas. Many Bedouin gatherings were also documented through photographs.

Malihat issued a warning about the potential displacement of other Bedouin communities due to the escalating settlement attacks against them. He asserted that these actions represent an open war against the Bedouin communities in the West Bank. The occupation government employs policies of maximum pressure against the Bedouins to drive them out and engages in demographic conflict to control the population in the area.
