The Palestine Information Center's latest report reveals a distressing surge in Israeli occupation forces and settlers' crimes and violations against Palestinians during the month of June. The report documents a total of 3,027 violations carried out by the Israeli forces and settlers, further exacerbating the already dire situation on the ground.

Tragically, 21 Palestinian citizens lost their lives during the month, among them were notable resistance fighters Suhaib Adnan Al-Ghoul (27), Ashraf Murad Al-Saadi (17), and Muhammad Bashar Owais (28). They were targeted and killed in a missile strike by an Israeli warplane near the Al-Jalama checkpoint in Jenin on 21/6. The Israeli occupation forces also seized their bodies and confiscated their vehicle.

The Israeli killing machine spared no children, as five innocent lives were brutally taken by the occupation forces. One heartbreaking case is that of Muhammad Haitham Al-Tamimi, a two-and-a-half-year-old child who succumbed to severe head injuries sustained when Israeli soldiers opened fire on the vehicle he was traveling in with his father in the town of Nabi Saleh, Ramallah.

The number of injuries reached 759, including women, children, and the elderly, as a result of the violent actions of the occupation forces and settlers. Furthermore, the occupation soldiers and settlers carried out 186 shooting operations during the month.

On June 19th, a large force of the occupation army stormed the city of Jenin and its camp, resulting in violent confrontations where live bullets, stun grenades, and toxic gas were indiscriminately used. The military operation lasted approximately 10 hours and resulted in the tragic death of five Palestinians, with 91 others sustaining injuries, including 23 in serious condition.

On June 25th, Israeli settlers committed an appalling act of burning copies of the Holy Qur'an during their attacks on the village of Urif, south of Nablus, flagrantly violating and disrespecting the sanctities of Muslims. Moreover, the settlers vandalized several mosques in the village, causing further devastation.

The report also highlights the alarming number of cases involving deportation from places of residence and from Al-Aqsa Mosque, totaling two citizens, with the occupation forces conducting 68 arrests of Jerusalemites out of the total 425 arrests in the West Bank. Meanwhile, 3,726 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Additionally, the occupation authorities continued their settlement activities, carrying out 22 such activities, including land confiscation, road construction, and the approval of new settlement units. Meanwhile, settlers were responsible for 168 attacks against Palestinians.

During this period, the occupation forces and settlers destroyed 138 Palestinian properties, including commercial shops, agricultural facilities, and barracks, while also confiscating 30 properties belonging to Palestinian citizens. Furthermore, there were 23 attacks on places of worship and sanctities, 33 road closures, and a total of 358 fixed and temporary checkpoints across the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Nablus, Ramallah, and Jenin were particularly vulnerable to Israeli violations, with 999, 431, and 424 violations respectively.
